duowolfI was happy to read that Tokyopop have decided to publish the novels that Kyo Kara Maoh was based upon. I love fantasy novels as a genral rule and this will also have the added bonus of being about characters I've already grow to care about.
Have also heard rumours that the The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya novels are going to be translated as well. Again they should be an interesting read.
Finally saw the last few episodes of Ghost Hound and I have to say I really enjoyed the ending. I've seen people complaining that it didn't really answer any of the questions the series had raised but I don't think that's true at all.Personily I think that considering who created the show we got more answers then I was expecting to get.
People have also been complaining that the happy ending came out of nowhere and again I'd have to disagree. Considering most of the problems that the main characters started the show with a good deal of them had been delt with by the time the last three episodes were aired. Which of course meant that by the time the heroic rescue happened they didn't really have the hang-ups with which they started with.
Masayuki had made friends with someone who was being bullied and in that way heleped resolve the issues he'd about causing a fellow student to kill themselves in his old school. Makoto had come to terms with his father's death and his families involvement in the kidnapping. He's also made his peace with his mother. Finally Tarou had come to terms with the death of his sister which was the main problrm that he had to deal with. Having come so far these kids deserved their happy ending and I'm glad they got it.
Lastly I just watched the latest episode of Persona and all I have to say is Akihiko-senpai it's you. :) I thought It was him in the previous episode but hadn't been sure until he came out and said it in this episode.
It's nice to see he hasn't changed that much in the years since the game. He's grow up of course but is still a sharp-dresser and cute too. Though I have to say his manners could use a little work. Not only did he let himself into the main character home, he cooked himself dinner and then ate it while talking with his mouth full. Shame on him. *laughs*
I have to wonder if anyone else from Persona 3 is going to show up. It would be nice to see what happened to the old gang after all these years.
