The Happening and The Hulk
Jun. 14th, 2008 09:01 amWent and saw both the new Hulk movie and The Happening yesterday and I have to say I really enjoyed both of them.
The only thing that annoyed me about The Happening was that a certain someone was killed of fairly early in the film but that was a minor thing compaired to the creepiness of the rest of the film.
The Hulk was a lot better then I thought it was going to be and along with Ironman makes mw wish Marvel had decided to make the movies themselves a lot longer ago. It's so much more fun when there are lots of hints to other events and people in the Marvel Universe. Also S.H.E.l.D were mentioned again:)
On a side note a new antique shop opened in Norwich and we decided to have a nose round. I've never wished I had my own house more then I did then. They had some beautiful pieces of furniture and lots of fun bits and bobs. The prices were pretty cheap as well which is never a bad thing. I could have looked around there for hours but alas we had other stuff to do in town.

Date: 2008-06-14 09:34 am (UTC)I have to admit there is much in the Marvel Universe that is annoying. I only ever read the X-Men related comics and even then I stopped reading them after the first film came out. It got pretty bad around then.
Saying that I have enjoyed all of the movies that have come out even if I've never been a hugh fan of the comics they come from. Thats espically true for Ironman and The Hulk who I also found to be pretty boring in comic form.
