Watched a few movies over the past couple of days as well as season 7 of CSI,which much to my distress ended in a cliff-hanger. *cries* Have now started watching the first season of Heroes and I have to say I'm really enjoying it so far.
The films we watched were Razortooth, Stormbreaker, Mindhunters, Flight Of The Pheonix(remake), A Sound Of Thunder and Stripes. They were all watchable movies though some were much better then others.

Razortooth was about a rare Asian eel that can travel over land that had been expermented on and then grew to a hugh sixe before going on a rampage in the Lousianna swampland. It was an OK movie with semi-decent acting, alas the CG was lacking so it really took away from the film. On a side note one of the charcters was watching a dodgy old blsck and white horror movie half-way though the film and somehow I remembered the name of the film. For those who are interested the movie was Revenge Of Dr X.

Next up was Stormbreaker which was a lot better then I thought it was going to be. It was filmed in England so it had a lot of fairly well known English actors in it like Stephan Fry anf Robbie Coltrane. It was a fun movie and it made want to search out the book it was based on to see if it is any good.

Next up was a film called Mindhunetrs starign Christian Slater, Val Kilmer and LL Cool J. It was a really good movie about a group of crimal profilers trapped on an island with a serial killer. It really kept you guessing to the very end of the movie who the killer and why they were doing the things they were doing.

The next movie we watched was the remake of Flight Of The Pheonix staring Dennis Quaid. This was a pretty good movie as well though that might have been because I've never seen the orignal movie. There were a few familer faces in this film including Jared Padalecki from Supernatrual.

The next movie we saw was A Sound Of Thunder about a company that runs surfari trips into the past to hunt dinosaurs and what happens when someone accidently chages something in the past. The plot of the movie was pretty good being based on a Ray Bradbury story and the acting was fairly OK for the most part. What really let this film down was the god awful CG in the gfilm. While not as bad as Razortooth it was still pretty damn bad which is a shame as apart from that it was a really interesting film.

The last movie we watched was Stripes staring Bill Murry, Harold Ramis and John Candy. This was a very funny movie about a bunch of guys joing the US army and being total fuck-ups the intire time they are there. Defeently one to watch if you like comdies.
