My Bloody Valentine 3-D
Jun. 14th, 2009 11:28 amSo I brought My Bloody Valentine on Blue Ray at the weekend mainly because I wanted something to test the 3-D thing out on and they didn't have anything else in 3-D.
About 10 minites into the film we had to swap to the 2-D version as it really just wasn't working for me. I couldn't see any other colors on the screen apart from the green and red from the glasses and it was just impossable to watch it like that. I think we'll just have to stick to watchinh 3-D films in the cinema.
The film itself was actully a lot better then I thought it was going to be. Jensen is a pretty decent actor (this is the first thing I've seen him in that wasn't Supernatural), and the rest of the cast were pretty good as well. It was also nice that they got stright into the action without wasting a ton of time setting the scene( they used the opening credits for that.) The other plus point was that it really kept you guessing about what was actully going on and just who the killer is which is never a bad thing at all.
I'd defently recommened it if you're a fan of either Jensen or horror movies.
