Jan. 8th, 2010 04:09 amHave really been enjoying the recent snow as it's been so long since we've had a decent snowfall in this part of the country. The only minus point is the couple of power cuts that happened yesterday*sigh*
Still it's fun to walk in the woods, in the snow and sunshine, looking foe animal prints in the snow and watching the jackdaws pushing the snow about with their beaks while looking for food. Such clever birds they are.
On a side note the husband and I have started playing Magic:The Gathering again. It's been so long but it's amazing how much of the rules I remeber. What really makes me weep is the thought of all the cards I used to have that we threw away when we stopped playing last time around. I won't be doing that again that's for sure. Nicly we have a lot more friends now that also play which makes all the difference.
