fireworks and Makai Kingdom

duowolfWent to a fireworks display at the loacl Ex-servicemens club last night. It was a pretty good display and there was free food which is never a bad thing:). Afterwards me, Micheal and our friend Peter decided to go get some chinese takeawy. We were on our way back from the shop to sit down by the river to eat when i notice a small brown shape sitting in the middle of the road. Once we got closer i bent down to get a closer look and it turned out to be a mouse.
Seeing as i couldn't leave the poor thing sitting on the road to get run over I picked it up and took it round to the otherside of the river where their were no roads for it to wander onto.The mouse was jumping in my hands everytime a firework went off.
I think alot of people (myself included) forget that along with pets the local wildlife also get frightend by all the loud bangs on fireworks night.
On a side note I started play Makai Kingdom (the lastest Nippon Ichi game) and I have to say it's turning out to be one of the weriest ones yet. Within the first few minites of the game the main character had been turned into a book!!! Tis very werid indeed but I'm already enjoying it more then I did Phantom Brave which is always a good sign.

Date: 2005-11-06 12:56 pm (UTC)We always go to that display as well. Micheal's been a member there for about 8 years now seeing as both his parents have been members there since before he was born. (so thats 26 years at least.) As I said it wasn't that bad a display not the best I've seen but defently not the worst.
