duowolfI HATE spyware the stuff is so damn annoying. Got in from work at about 23:00 to find a note from my brother saying i've got spyware. So I run adaware, no luck there all it found was a couple of cookies.Great so thats 1 1/2 hours wasted.
So out of options I decided to try using hijack this to look for something fishy, luckily enough I found what I was looking for. After checking to make sure it was the right program ie something that had only appered on the 20th December I quickly deleted the little basterd.
After resetting the comp for about the fifth time i was happy to find the problem solved and i could finally connect to the internet again.:D
Is it just me but making spyware that stops you connecting to the internet seems completly pointless to me. I guess it takes all sorts.

Date: 2004-12-21 07:24 am (UTC)Have you treid running MyIE2 or Firefox instead of IE? You'll find if you don't use microsoft programs you won't be targeted byt he majority of spyware!
