The Howling and some other stuff

duowolfThankfully I'm of from work for the next 4 days, I was really in need of a holiday. It gets worse and worse there with every passing day.*sigh*
We were going to go and see Hot Fuzz today but for some reason the trains weren't running and it's way to much hassle to go by coach so we're going to wait and hopefully go on Tuesday instead. So we rented a couple of films instead we got Right At Your Door and Tideline. Hopefully they will be pretty good.
On a side note I've never had to stop myself ranting at someone but yesterday I come across someone talking about The Howling novels being tie-ins to the movies and I really wanted to send the guy a really evil email as the books were written first and are so much better then that god awful series of movies.
I read the books way back when I was 9 and they really were my first fandom, I wrote bad fanfic for them and everything. I'm just really glad that I didn't have the internet back then as that really would have been embarrising. I still love the books alot and they were a big part of both mine and my younger brother's childhood that I'm a little touchy when it comes to the mess that is the films.
