Deadly Premonition
Jan. 28th, 2011 04:25 amHaving just finished this game I have to say it's one of the best games I've played in a long time. It's funny, creepy, fun, bizarre and really makes you care about the characters and what's going to happen to them.
It's an open-world detective surivial horror game where you play FBI agent Francis York Morgan who goes to the small town of Greenville to help solve the murder of a young woman. If you're a fan of either Silent Hill or Twin Peaks you really will love this game.
I was going to use the trailer for the game here but it's so full of spoilers that it really isn't worth it as half the fun is trying to find out who the killer is. Instead I've included this clip where York tries out a new sandwich. :)
As you can see in the clip ther York has a beard. He doesn't at the start of the game but it grows if you forget to shave. His suits also get dirty and then start to attract flies if you don't change them. He also needs to eat and sleep like anyone else.
There are also a ton of side quests so you can get to know the rest of the townsfolk better.
