duowolfI'm going to put this under a cut as it could be detressing to those who love animals espically cats as it has very much upset me.
On the way to work my brother and I had just left the aprtment block when a car came speading round the corner, towards the end of block of houses. The gap into this area isn't very big and they stopped right in the middle of it and then carried on. We didn't think much of it until we got to that area and saw why they stopped. They hit a cat and just left it in the road, it was still alive when we got there though I don't think it survived. I tried knocking on the doors of the two houses there to see if anyone owned the animal but neither of them did though the lady in the second house I knocked on called the vet out and we carried onto work as at the time I was upset but fairly ok plus there really wasn't anything else we could do.
It wasn't until I started working that it really hit me and i had to come home as I just couldn't stop crying and this was for a cat I didn't even know. God forbid it had been one of the two cats I actully interact with in that area. I'd be in even more of a mess then I am now.
I really can't belive that guy was speeding in this area though it's really dangerous as there really isn't that much room or lighting espically at this time of night.*sigh* I really think that people just don't think at all.
